"This book should have been called Investment Banking for Dummies. :) Maybe that title was already taken. I was very impressed with the author's approach in this book. While many people in a particular field may be looking to lure people into their industry with promises of instant success and promises of no way to fail that's not what you will find here. This book took a very realistic approach to helping the reader understand what to expect in pursing this profession and what NOT to expected. This was followed by step by step guide/strategy of how to make this work for you in this is what you are passionate about doing. Very good read and also very short and succinct."

- This book is for investment banking interviews and it does have some specific parts for this topic, but I think some of the concepts and tips in this book could also be applied to any kind of interviews. I think most of the ideas proposed in the first several chapters are more generic and could be applied in many other scenarios. For those contents after "Strength and Weakness" chapter, they are more focus on investment banking interviews and the questions may indicate the topics that worth to do some homework. A helpful book for interview in general.
- I don't know a ton about invest banking but I still found this a fascinating read. Some of the interview questions apply well to many sorts of positions and I really enjoyed the conversational / non-bs tone of the author. He has a really good voice and is able to get his ideas out in a very coherent manner that's even entertaining. I'd consider this a valuable recourse to consult before having any sort of job interview.
- Helpful book, to have. Made me really think about the questions that the book was asking. The author takes his time to give a more detailed perspective on on his understand to be more successful. I recommend for someone in the business field or even as just a helpful guide book.
